Brights, Florals & Prints

So is anyone else loving this trend as much as I am? I've seen some gorgeous bright trousers around and some of my favourites have been spotted in H&M. I did really want to buy a pair of orange skinny jeans but unfortunately I couldn't find a size that fitted properly! It's a shame because this always happens with H&M bottoms! Florals have never been my favourite trend either but I have grown quite fond of them recently and even bought a floral top matching the trousers above! So what are your favourite trouser colours for Spring?

Girl Crush: Bar Refaeli

If you don't already know I have a bit of crush on Bar Refaeli, well a massive crush. It's no wonder designers love using her for lingerie and swimwear because she has such an amazing figure and you can tell she is healthy and fit, unlike some ghostly girls we see on the runway! She's also fur free so what's not to love!? Here she is posing for GQ Magazine earlier in the year.

Georgia May for Harper's Bazaar

Georgia May glitters in embellished ensembles for Harper's Bazaar UK. The paradisical background works perfectly with the blonde beach hair, golden skin and bronzed make up. I love how the metallics and shiny sequins imitate fish scale textures, adding to that aquatic, mermaidesque theme. Simply beautiful.

Eva Mendes for Marie Claire US

Eva Mendes looks sassy and sexy as always on the cover of Marie Claire US March 2012. I love this lady! She exudes such a fun femininity. Eva has also stood up against the fur industry after realising how animals including rabbits, racoons, crocodiles, pythons (and even dogs) were heartlessly skinned alive for their fur and skin. I think it's a shame more celebs don't follow Eva's example because after all, they stand as role models, and in this day and age no one should condone how animals are needlessly tortured for fashion. I just hope Eva sticks to her guns and that more celebs realise that wearing fur is really not at all ethical. It only takes one video on fur farm realities to realise this so if any one is unaware of the truth go have a look and I promise you will never look at fur the same. Alexa Chung for Superga: Too Thin??

So here's Alexa for Superga's SS12 Campaign and of course I love the photos or they wouldn't be on my blog. Alexa really pulls off the casual look and the relaxed, spring vibe is definitely in the air. But I can't help but think she is too thin. I know she's always been rather slim but I never thought she was this tiny and for some reason the definition on her legs does not look healthy, especially in the last photo. I've never really followed her as a celeb or fashion icon so maybe I am wrong in my judgement! So I wanted to ask what your views are, has she always been this skinny? And if so, do you think its her natural size?

How beautiful are these pics from Gottex' Cruise Collection!? I'm loving the standing up shots with the rich blue water, shimmering sand and golden tans. I definitely  prefer the minimalist designs out of these swimsuits but every single photo looks heavenly!
