RIP Amy :( ♥

I want to dedicate this post to the beautiful, warm-hearted and talented Amy Winehouse. The news of her death has upset me loads. Some people may just see her as a self-destructive junkie and may feel no sympathy for her but I truly feel so terrible about this. It's clear through her interviews and lyrics that she was a beautiful human being with good intentions and plenty of love to give and ultimately I believe she was a good person and this is what upsets me so much. Even though it was down to her to get herself back on track I don't think we can underestimate the deadly grips of addiction and I just wish more could have been done to save her. Maybe she needed to find someone who truly loved her to give her that motivation. Maybe she really did just need a friend. So please let's remember the bubbly, funny, unique and loving part of this young lady and not what she was notoriously known for. Drugs and alcohol may have destroyed her but they certainly did not define her...

Style Icon: Zoe Saldana

I adore Zoe Saldana as an actress and a style icon! I love her funny movies (except of Avatar, let's not go there) and she always manages to look exotically classy and flawless. Although she does have a very thin, lean frame she works those designer outfits better than the super models on the runways do! She is such a gorgeous lady and really adds warmth to these glamorous dresses. So what do you guys think? Zoe or the runway, which do you prefer?

Kim Kardashian is one of my top style icons, I absolutely adore her fashion sense and she really knows how to accentuate those voluptuous curves! What I love most about this outfit is the Givenchy tuxedo blazer as the cut is really flattering and the 80's style shoulder pads are a trendy look that Kim manages to pull off perfectly.    Blazers are actually one of my favourite items of clothing as they can be worn for many occasions, from casual day wear to a job interview, and what's more, they are in style all year round!
